Students Representing Students: NMSA Puerto Rico on Resolution 821

On February 2nd 2016, the Puerto Rican Senate held a public hearing for Resolution 821 in order to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the practice of Naturopathic Medicine and Naturopathy in Puerto Rico. Students presented their claims to review the current law and consider a possible amendment that would provide an additional revision.

The NMSA El Turabo Chapter played a significant role in this historical event for the practice of the naturopathic medicine on the island. In reviewing the current law, students presented their claims for amendments that would provide additional revisions to align the law with current practices that are typical to the naturopathic medical profession.
