Gabrielle Klein

Bastyr California, Chapter President

Hi Everyone! My name is Gabrielle Klein. I’m a California native who grew up roaming the hills, forests, and beaches in Marin County in the San Francisco Bay Area. I graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a BA in Sociology. I went to work in the dietary supplement industry, focusing on sales, marketing, and product development for raw material botanical extracts and specialty ingredients. I ran into many challenges with my health starting in my early 20’s and was subsequently diagnosed with Stage 3 Endometriosis and Lyme Disease. I’ve spent years treating my conditions using both allopathic and holistic healing modalities, and am working my way back to health and vitality. This, combined with being raised holistically is what sparked my love for Naturopathic Medicine. I know from my own experience that healing is not a linear process and that at times you need to utilize every level of the therapeutic order in order to restore that vis! It’s my mission to help others find their path in their own healing journey in order to live fully and thrive.

Recently I made a career path change and decided to follow my passion of becoming a Naturopathic Doctor at Bastyr University California. I’m now in my 4th year of 5 in the program. In addition to spending my time on NMSA, I also sat as the VP of Communications for BUC SGA during the 2020-2021 school year, and actively participate in the school’s What’s Next Club, Botanical Medicine Club and Homeopathy Club.

In my spare time, I love hanging with my new kittens I adopted last fall, spending time with friends and family, watching my nieces and nephews grown into awesome humans, spending time at the beach and out in nature, and desperately miss going to see live music, live theater and films!!!
