Gianni Algarin-Rivera is a second-year Naturopathic Medical Student at Universidad Ana G. Mendez in Puerto Rico. Gianni is extremely enchanted to be performing as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Naturopathic Medicine Student Association International Board of 2024-25. Mr. Algarin enjoys collaborating with a diverse team empowering their visions to color their communities with their actions and enriching people’s lives with lifetime lessons to help them leave their legacies. As a Future Naturopathic Doctor, Gianni aims to serve and provide care to poverty-stricken and vulnerable communities, such as the elderly, persons experiencing homelessness, LGBTAIQ+ persons, and other marginalized populations. He leads with keen integrity in his values of leadership, community, empowerment, and diversity to collaborate to ensure people with poor access to quality health services may have their health needs met. In his free time, he loves building new skills in business management, quality improvement, technological advancement and in naturopathic methods.
