Kailee Keiser is a third year Naturopathic Medical Student at Bastyr University San Diego. Prior to ND school, she received her B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. While deciding between pursuing an MD, DO, or ND, she spent her gap years as a high school chemistry teacher in Downtown Los Angeles, where she received her M.A. in Urban Education with an emphasis in Policy and Administration. She decided to pursue an ND because of her own battles with chronic health conditions and her belief in the body’s ability to heal. As chapter president, she hopes to ensure student success within BUSD and promote issues of health equity and ethics.
