Laurel Plitnik is in her third of four years of medical school at National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR. Plitnik has a background in biology, ethnobotany, and sustainability studies, which drives her desire to facilitate balance and peace for not only the health of humans, but also the whole of the earth. Her clinical interests include the gut-brain connection, as well as all forms of bodywork/the mind-body connection. A fun fact is that she is from rural Western Maryland and plans to return there to practice!
