Ryleigh Kates (She/Her) is a fourth-year Naturopathic Medical Student at Bastyr University in Washington and currently serving as NMSA’s VP of Development for the 2025-2026 term, where she is focused on supporting the creation of an enthusiastic, consistent, community-focused team. Passionate about cognitive longevity, aesthetics, and performance, Ryleigh plans to create a practice integrating neurology, dermatology, and physical medicine. With her background in Environmental Toxicology, she advocates for environmental health and believes in the power of education to empower individuals. As a certified Pilates instructor, Ryleigh finds it incredibly rewarding to help others unlock their full potential and gain autonomy over their health, something she looks forward to in her future practice.

Originally from Southern California, Ryleigh now lives in the Pacific Northwest, where she enjoys reading, spending time with her partner and pets, and attending concerts when she isn’t studying or in class.
