Anand is a student at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in his final year of naturopathic internship. He is currently serving as VP of Communications & PR for NMSA International. He carries with him an extensive background in medicine as an MD (St. Kitts & Nevis) and a Manual Osteopath (Toronto, Canada). He is the founder of a VC firm, Sequoia Wellness Group which is involved in developing, seeding, and helping wellness businesses start up and grow across Canada. He plans on supporting and aiding the organization in achieving and surpassing its mission this year. His mission as a future naturopath is his commitment to empowering his patients to take control of their health and helping them find a deeper meaning in life while reclaiming their focus, function, and joy. In his free time, you can find him spending time outdoors, cooking, traveling, and flying kites.

Tara is a third year student at National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR. She completed an undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry at Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada before embarking on a backpacking trip spanning 13 countries across 3 continents. This travel allowed her to volunteer in a variety of capacities (from children with special needs to ecological research in the jungle) and participate in natural medicine practices in both Peru and India. She has lived all across Canada
and has experience managing an integrative health clinic.

Her goal as Vice President of Communications and PR is to unite the voices of students from all the naturopathic schools and to
promote collaboration and community for all NMSA members.
