I am an International Medical Graduate at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine; worked as a Gynecologist in Egypt and then as a medical advisor and marketing director for pharmaceuticals in the middle east. During that, I managed autistic kids with nutrition and did a lot of awareness on Biomedical therapy for ASD.
Greetings! My name is Lois Hernandez and I’m a fourth year ND student at Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington. I’m excited to serve NMSA as the VP of Membership and hope to ignite enthusiasm and inspire active participation of each member while bridging gaps between Naturopathic medical schools. I am passionate about helping my colleagues’ voices be heard and currently serving a third year on BUW’s student council.
My purpose in life is to serve others which fueled a career change after ten years as an analytical chemist. I am a member of Naturopaths Without Borders and look forward to offering my skills and services to underserved communities once COVID travel bans are lifted. In my free time, I like to spend my time outdoors, challenge my 12-year-old to a game of Mario Kart, advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, watch Alabama football, and create tasty new treats in the kitchen. I’d love to hear your ideas and suggestions on how to make the next year the best one yet. Feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
